Frequently Asked Questions

  • What’s your design and development process like?
It’s a collaborative, step-by-step process. We’ll start with a discovery chat, move into planning and design, then develop and test your site before launch. I keep things simple, transparent, and well-paced. Check out my how it works page for more details.
  • How long does it take to build a website?
It depends on the size and complexity of your site, but most projects take between 2-4 weeks. I’ll give you a clear timeline upfront, and keep you updated every step of the way.
  • Do you use templates or custom designs?
Every site I create is custom-designed to fit your brand, goals, and audience. I never use off-the-shelf templates - your site will be uniquely yours.
  • How involved do I need to be?
That’s up to you! Some clients like to be hands-on, others prefer to leave it to me. I’ll guide you through key decisions and check in regularly to make sure we’re on the same page.
  • Will I be able to update the site myself?
Absolutely. I build sites using the WIX platform, that are easy to manage, I can show you how to make basic edits, however, most of my clients prefer me to handle updates for them as I offer very affordable support packages. This gives you more time to concentrate on your business.
  • What platform or CMS do you use?
I use the WIX platform, a flexible, reliable platform that is easy to manage and scale - it offers a range of features, including built-in apps for enhancing functionality, SEO tools, and robust customer support. Wix also provides reliable hosting and security.
  • Can you redesign my current website?
Yes! Whether you need a small refresh or a full rebuild, I can help improve the look, usability, and performance of your existing site.
  • Do you help with writing the content?
I can definitely help shape and polish your content, but this will come from collaboration between us during the planning phase.
  • Will my website be mobile-friendly?
100%. I use a mobile first development strategy ensuring every website I build is responsive - this means it’ll look great and work smoothly on mobiles, tablets, and desktops. Mobile-first development is a development strategy that prioritizes designing and building for smaller mobile screens first, then scaling up for larger displays. This approach ensures that the core functionality and user experience are optimized for mobile users, who constitute a large portion of internet traffic.
  • Do you build e-commerce websites?
Yes, I do! Whether you’re selling a handful of products or need a full online shop, I can design and build a store that’s secure, easy to use, and on-brand.
  • Do you provide hosting and domain registration?
I don’t offer hosting or domains directly, but I use WIX to register a new domain or transfer your existing domain for you. You don't need to worry, I'll get it all sorted for you.
  • Will my site be secure and GDPR compliant?
Yes, I build with best practices in mind for security and data privacy. I’ll also include cookie consent tools and privacy policy and terms and conditions links if needed.
  • Do you offer maintenance and support?
Yes! I offer flexible and affordable support plans so that you can focus on your business instead of your website. Check out my pricing plans for more details.
  • Can you help with SEO?
Definitely. Every site I build includes basic on-page SEO setup, and I can help with more in-depth strategies if you're looking to rank higher in search results.
  • What happens if something breaks after launch?
Don't worry, I’ve got your back. I include a post-launch support window with every project, and I’m always just an email away if something unexpected pops up.
  • How much does a website cost?
Prices vary depending on what you need. I offer clear, flexible pricing options for different budgets. Check out my pricing plans for more details.
  • Do you offer fixed-price packages?
Yes, I offer a few base packages to give you a starting point, but I can also create a custom quote tailored to your project. Check out my pricing plans for more details.
  • Do you require a deposit to start?
Yes — a 10% deposit is required to book your project. This helps secure your spot in my schedule and kicks off the design process.
  • Are there any ongoing costs after the site goes live?
There can be - like hosting, domain renewals, or optional maintenance. I’ll walk you through everything upfront so there are no surprises. Check out my pricing plans for more details.
  • Can you work within my budget?
In many cases, yes! Let’s talk through what you need, and I’ll do my best to suggest a solution that fits your goals and your budget.
  • Do you take debit or credit cards?
To keep things affordable for both of us, I’m not taking card payments right now. Bank transfer is the only option at the moment.
